Rhône-Style White
Ser Winery, Central Coast, CA

Meet the wine
The four different grapes in this Rhône-Style White blend are hand-picked and fermented separately, then pressed whole cluster into stainless steel tanks. To develop body and texture, the fruit remains on the lees for several months before being blended together. “This wine is a nod to the Rhône white blends I’ve been making the past 20 years," shares winemaker, Nicole Walsh. "The 2023 growing season was particularly cool and long, leading to a slow, late ripening of the fruit.”

Meet the maker
Nicole is a Santa Cruz surfer making big waves in cool-climate wine, growing super rare grapes in rugged coastal terrain. After working in wine around the world—from Michigan to New Zealand to Santa Cruz—she started her label, Ser, which means “to express origin” in Spanish. Ser specializes in unique single-vineyard, single-varietal wines that are a pure reflection of where they came from.

Love this wine!
The Rhône style white wine is fantastic! It’s not too buttery and not sweet or bitter. A perfect white for any occasion.

Love this!
It is dry and crisp with a nice flavor. I usually drink bubbly-and specifically prefer rose bubbly, but when I don't do the bubbly road I like a sauvignon type wine and this one fits the bill perfectly!
